What is "The Psychology Faculty"?

The Psychology Faculty provides free, short films of university lecturers speaking on topics directly from the A-level curriculum. All our topics are provided by the major exam boards: AQA, Edexcel and OCR. In bringing the expertise of research scholars into the classroom, we stretch and challenge students, help them excel in their assessments, inspire deeper learning and smooth the transition from school to university. The site also helps students choose a university Psychology department that's right for them and shows them what careers may follow their studies and what employers particularly value in Psychology graduates.

The "Home" or "A-levels" pages contain the video lectures. Each individual video podcast is accompanied by related resources and a discussion forum which allows teachers and pupils across the UK to discuss the podcast content. All discussions are moderated.

The "Universities" pages provide advice on making the transition from sixth form to university and information on many of the top Psychology departments in the country.

The "Careers" pages provide general advice for Psychology graduates entering the world of work, and offer information on leading UK employers of Psychology graduates
